Following its successful deployments at the 15th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD COP15, Kunming) and the 13th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD COP13, Ordos), the upcoming UNCCD COP17 will mark the third time TAIDEN has been chosen to provide conference system support for a landmark United Nations environmental summit. Leveraging its extensive experience in delivering large-scale UN conferences, proprietary core conference system technologies, and comprehensive end-to-end service capabilities, TAIDEN continues to support global efforts in biodiversity conservation, desertification control, and sustainable land management.
Held under the theme "Restoring Land, Relighting Hope," UNCCD COP17 is scheduled for August this year in Ulaanbaatar. Representatives from the 197 Parties to the Convention, together with global leaders, will gather to explore solutions to the interconnected challenges of desertification, land degradation, and drought. To meet the complex demands of this large-scale conference — which features extensive venue clusters, multilingual consultations, and the need for thousands of conference units to operate concurrently and in seamless coordination — TAIDEN will provide a one-stop conference audio-visual solution comprising over 6,000 delegate units.
In addition to hardware, TAIDEN delivers a full-lifecycle technical service package. This end-to-end support spans initial venue surveying and solution design, on-site installation and commissioning, pre-conference testing, round-the-clock (24/7) on-site technical support during the event, and post-conference equipment maintenance — ensuring the seamless integration of software and hardware for the flawless delivery of the conference.
